Founded by Ambrose Sarich and Anna Tripp, Tatuu Roa is committed to the revitalisation of all things tākaro.
As cultural educators their work awakens memory, uplifts identity, and reconnects people to land, language, and narrative through play.
Through schools, community programmes, and global forums, they are re-envisioning traditional learning systems while exploring new pathways for healing, education, leadership, and community.
Playfully
Founded by Maria Mariotti and Francesco Micarelli, Playfully bridges Aotearoa and Italy to activate learning, leadership, and community wellbeing through play.
Their approach integrates systems thinking, cultural leadership, and experiential learning to foster trust, creativity, and collaboration in organisations, educational settings, and intercultural projects.

TOCATÌ Festival Verona 2025
Tocatì is Verona’s vibrant three-day celebration of traditional games and pastimes from around the world, where music, dance, food and play bring cultures together. In Venetian dialect, Tocatì means “it’s your turn”—an invitation to connect, exchange and play!
In September 2025, Playfully and Tatuu Roa brought a 50-strong Māori delegation, to Verona, Italy, as guests of honour at the Tocatì International Festival of Street Games.
At the heart of our contribution was play as a living way to share knowledge, strengthen relationships and bridge generations and cultures.
